Start

What it does and who it’s for

Higgsfield has many models and each shows different options: some want a start frame and an end frame, others take several references, others none, and a few hide their settings behind a dropdown. Building a batch by hand means reconfiguring the page for every prompt.

Higgsfield AutoKuak knows the whole catalogue. When you choose a model the panel shows exactly its options and its reference slots, and on start it applies them on the page, checking one by one that they were accepted. Anything the site refuses because of your plan doesn’t break the batch: it’s logged and the run continues.

It’s the extension for producing with Higgsfield at volume: series of shots on the same model and settings, character variations, image batches for an edit. It uses your Higgsfield account and plan; the extension only handles the legwork.

How to use it

Open Higgsfield and the panel

The extension works on higgsfield.ai’s generation pages. If you’re outside one, the panel says so and unlocks by itself as soon as you enter.

Load the prompts

“Paste manually”, with a blank line between prompts, or “From a tab”, cutting between two text markers in another open tab.

Pick Type and Model

Image or Video, then the model. Once picked, the panel shows only the options that model really has; if it has none, it says so instead of faking a form.

Add references if the model asks for them

In “Files + text” mode a block appears per slot, with the name the site itself uses, the types it accepts (photo, video or audio), how many, and whether it’s required.

Set up downloads

Download quality, folder, prefix and automatic renaming, per group.

Press Start

The extension applies the model and its settings, uploads the references, sends each prompt, waits for the result in the history and downloads it. The run view shows where each one stands.

Models and options

Full image catalogue 21 models, among them Nano Banana Pro and 2, Higgsfield Soul and Soul Cinema, Seedream, FLUX.2, GPT Image, Grok Imagine, Kling O1, Z-Image and WAN 2.2.
Full video catalogue 49 models grouped by family: Google Veo, OpenAI Sora 2, Kling, Minimax Hailuo, Seedance, Wan, Grok Imagine and Higgsfield’s own, including the editing and motion-control ones.
Different options per model Duration, aspect ratio, resolution, quality, bitrate or images per prompt: what that model has appears, and nothing else.
Models with no settings When a model has no extra options the panel says so, and it generates with the site’s defaults.
Wrong-mode warning If the group uses one model and the site is in another mode, the extension says so before starting instead of generating the wrong thing.

Reference files

One block per slot With the site’s own label: start frame, end frame, multiple references, audio…
Types allowed per slot Photo, video or audio, depending on what the slot takes. A file of the wrong type is refused with an explanation.
How many, and whether it’s required The panel says “up to n”, “no limit”, “required” or “optional” for each slot.
Up to 40 MB per file The limit is checked in the panel, before anything is uploaded.
Re-uploaded if the site loses them In “Files + text” they upload once and the extension watches that they stay in place through the batch.

Prompts and groups

Paste manually or read from another tab From ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or X, cutting between two delimiters.
List range From prompt #N to #M, or to the end.
Queued groups, each with its own model One batch can move from image to video, or from one model to another, group by group.
Saved settings groups Up to five reusable settings bundles, identified by colour.

Downloads

Automatic download The result saves as soon as it shows up finished in Higgsfield’s history.
Download quality If your Higgsfield plan doesn’t allow the one you asked for, it downloads at the best available and the panel says which you wanted and which was used.
Folder, prefix and renaming Per group, with a sequential counter starting where you say.

While it runs

Per-prompt state Pasting, sending, generating, downloading, retrying, done or error, with a percentage when there is one.
Site errors recognised A file that fails to load, an image that’s too small, an upload agreement to accept or a dropped session: each one is explained instead of a generic error.
Estimate and queue Per group and total; groups that haven’t started can be pulled from the queue.
Prompt counter How many you’ve used in your 24-hour window and when it resets.

Types and input modes

Type and model are set per group; the input mode decides whether the prompt travels alone or with files.

Type: Image

21 models, with aspect ratio, quality, resolution and images per prompt depending on the model.

Type: Video

49 models, one clip per prompt, with duration, aspect, resolution and bitrate depending on the model.

Text → image

The prompt travels alone. It’s the mode for models that take no reference files.

Files + text

The prompt travels with each slot’s files. They upload once and serve the whole batch.

Sequence

A different file per prompt, in order, into the model’s main slot.

What’s free and what isn’t

Prompts are counted per tool over a rolling 24-hour window: each prompt stops counting 24 hours after it was sent.

This allowance is the extension’s. What Higgsfield lets you generate, and which qualities it opens up, depends on your plan there: options marked Premium on their site — 4K on some models, for instance — are still theirs, and the extension warns you when they’re refused.

What it needs and what data leaves your machine

Chrome 116 or later (any Chromium-based browser works too).
It acts on higgsfield.ai, and reads prompts from chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, grok.com and x.com when you choose “From a tab”.
Prompts, reference files and results go from your browser to Higgsfield. They don’t pass through any Kuak server.
Only the prompt count travels to api.kuaklabs.com, to track your allowance and plan.
Reference files live in the panel’s memory while you work; only their name and type stay in local storage.
If Higgsfield asks you to accept its media upload agreement, the extension doesn’t accept it for you: it tells you to do it once by hand.

Frequently asked questions

Does it generate images, videos or both?

Both. Each group picks Type: Image or Video, and the panel switches to the matching catalogue and options. One batch can carry groups of both types.

What are per-slot reference files?

Each video model wants its files in different places: one wants a start and an end frame, another several references, another an audio track. The panel shows a block per slot with the site’s own label, and only accepts the types that slot takes.

Can I download in 4K?

It depends on your Higgsfield plan: 4K on some models is marked Premium on their site. If your account doesn’t have it, the site ignores the selection; the extension detects that, downloads at the best available and tells you what happened.

Do I have to re-upload references for every prompt?

No. In “Files + text” they upload once and serve the whole group; the extension watches that they stay put and re-uploads them if the site loses them. In “Sequence” there is one file per prompt, on purpose.

Do I need a paid Higgsfield plan?

You need the account you already generate with there. The extension generates nothing itself and unlocks none of Higgsfield’s paid options.

How many prompts can I send?

Without an account, 15 per 24 hours. With a free account, 30. With Pro, unlimited. The counter belongs to Higgsfield AutoKuak.

And if Higgsfield changes its models?

The catalogue ships inside the extension and updates with it. If a model disappears or a new one arrives, it comes in a new version.
