Format type
📋 Tutorial · 📝 List · 🔍 Review · 🎭 Personal · 📰 Trending · 🌲 Evergreen · 🎞️ Short.
Useful for auditing competition: in a couple of clicks you see how many views/day a video is making, what format it uses, what outlier score it has, and what niche it belongs to. That information explains a big chunk of why some videos grow and others don't. For Shorts, TubeKRadar shows a specific note with typical RPM (~$0.05 per 1,000 plays).
Stats for any YouTube channel
On any channel page, TubeKRadar adds a panel below the header with the metrics YouTube doesn't show publicly.
Estimated monthly revenue
Formula: median(views/day per video, 7-day floor) × 30 × min(visible videos, 10) × CPM × 55%. Resilient against recent viral videos.
RPM (Revenue Per Mille)
Based on the channel's niche: CPM × 55%. Only shown if the channel is monetized.
Monetization score (0–100)
Based on the estimated CPM of the main niche.
Monetization status
Monetized · Likely · Possibly · Unlikely · Not monetized. Inferred from multiple DOM signals: subscribers ≥ 1,000, "Join" button, member badge, Super Thanks, store tab, active ad, YPP thresholds.
Channel size
Micro <5K · Small <50K · Medium <200K · Large <1M · Top >1M.
Publishing frequency
Daily, several/week, weekly, biweekly, monthly+.
Average duration
Average duration of published videos (excludes Shorts and > 1h videos).
% Shorts
% Shorts over the analyzed total.
Trend
↑ Growing if last-30-day videos perform +15% vs older; ↓ Declining at -15%.
Viral dependency
% of total views concentrated in the top 3 videos. >60% indicates a channel reliant on one-off hits.
Important: estimated revenue is a projection based on the niche's typical RPM and doesn't represent real AdSense numbers. Useful for comparing channels against each other on equal footing, not for knowing the exact number of a specific channel.

General

mixed CPM, no dominant classification
Each category includes specific subniches. Inside AI & Tech, for example, it distinguishes Generative AI, LLMs & Chatbots, AI Automation, Programming, Gadgets & Reviews and Cybersecurity. The taxonomy is designed so a creator can identify which specific subniche a video belongs to, not just stop at the generic category. If you want to dive into how to identify profitable niches beyond the auto classification, the AutoKuak Suite blog has a complete guide on how to find YouTube niches.
Control what data shows up
Not everyone wants to see all the data at once. From the TubeKRadar popup you can independently turn each component on or off.
Show on YouTube (master toggle)
Three sub-toggles: Thumbnails (thumbnail stats), Video page (open-video stats panel), Channel page (channel-page stats panel). If you only want views/day on thumbnails, turn the rest off and YouTube's UI stays clean.
Niche Scan — Pro-gated
Scrolls stepper (1–50, presets 5/10/25/50, default 10): adds a Scan Niches button on YouTube that auto-scrolls and sends videos to the backend for scoring. Free 2/day with account · Pro 100/day · anonymous locked. See Niche Scan →
TubeKRadar is fully free

Frequently asked questions
What people ask us before installing TubeKRadar.
Is TubeKRadar really free or is there fine print?
Really free. The entire stats layer (thumbnail overlays, video panel, channel panel, niche detection with 15 categories) is available for every user with no cap and no account required. The only Pro piece is Niche Scan (the active feed scan button), which has 2 scans/day free with account and 100 scans/day on Pro.
How close are TubeKRadar's revenue estimates to the real numbers?
They're a projection based on the channel niche's typical CPM, multiplied by the median views/day and a 55% factor (the share of CPM YouTube pays the creator after its cut). It isn't real AdSense because we don't have access to the creator's YouTube Studio. It works very well for comparing channels against each other; the exact figure is only known by the channel owner.
How does TubeKRadar detect whether a channel is monetized?
Inference from multiple YouTube DOM signals: presence of the "Join" (members) button, member badge, "Super Thanks" availability, store tab, active ad in the player, minimum YouTube Partner Program thresholds (subs + estimated watch hours). Each signal adds points to the score; the final status (Monetized / Likely / Possibly / Unlikely / Not monetized) is computed over the total. It has a 14-day cache to avoid recomputing on each channel visit.
How is TubeKRadar different from vidIQ or TubeBuddy?
Three main differences: (1) TubeKRadar has the full stats layer free for everyone, no trial or paywall; (2) it's built for creators who also automate production with AI — shares account and plan with Grok AutoKuak, Flow AutoKuak and ChatGPT AutoKuak; (3) the niche taxonomy and revenue formula are tuned for faceless / young channels, not legacy channels.
Do I need a YouTube account to use TubeKRadar?
No. TubeKRadar works whether you're signed into YouTube or not — data is read from the public DOM of the page and doesn't require a YouTube API key on your end. A Google account is only needed if you want to use Niche Scan (the Pro-gated active scan button).
Does TubeKRadar consume a YouTube API key?
Not on your side. Your usage of TubeKRadar doesn't require or configure a YouTube API key. The Kuaklabs backend uses its own YouTube Data API v3 internally for Niche Scan scoring, but that quota is internal and not charged to you.
Does TubeKRadar use a popup or a side panel on YouTube?
The configuration UI (toggles, settings) lives in a classic popup that opens when you click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar. The data added on top of YouTube is injected directly into the page's native DOM (overlays on thumbnails, panel inserted into the video sidebar, panel inserted under the channel header). There's no floating side panel.
