AutoKuak Free vs Pro: what actually changes

Pro on the AutoKuak suite is $10.00/mo, $26.99 a quarter or $89.88 a year. The right question is not what it costs — it is whether your pipeline fits inside Free. This is the comparison without the marketing language: when Free is genuinely enough, when Pro pays for itself several times over, and what you do not get with Pro even though you paid.

The short version

  • Free (with a Google account): 30 prompts per 24 h per tool, plus 2 niche scans per 24 h. Enough for a creator publishing 1-3 videos a week.
  • Pro: no prompt cap per tool, and 100 niche scans per 24 h.
  • Pro pays for itself if you publish more than 3 videos a week, if you lean on Niche Scan a lot, or if you check sub-niches often.
  • What Pro does NOT give you: truly infinite limits (Niche Scan is capped at 100 per 24 h), or features that do not exist in the product yet.

What each plan includes, with nothing dressed up

One thing that matters: the allowances are per tool, not shared. Spend 30 prompts on Grok and 30 on Flow in the same window and you have 0 left on both — but ChatGPT AutoKuak still has its 30 untouched.

When Free is strictly enough

Free falls short in very few cases. If you are in any of these situations, you do not need to pay:

  • You publish 1-2 videos a week: your daily pipeline rarely goes over 30 prompts against any one model. Free, indefinitely.
  • You are still learning the flow: if you are iterating with short prompts, 30 per 24 h is more than enough. Pro starts to make sense once you know what you need to produce.
  • You use TubeKRadar passively: if all you do is read the overlays while browsing, without launching scans often, Free without signing in is enough. The overlays are unlimited.
  • Your niche is stable: if you publish in a niche you know inside out and rarely pivot, you do not need to scan every week. Free.
  • You are just curious: if you only want to see what the extension does before committing, the 15 prompts per 24 h in anonymous mode let you try it without handing over an email.

Free is not a trial: it is a plan, with no card and no expiry date. As long as your daily pipeline fits inside 30 prompts per tool and 2 niche scans, there is no reason to pay.

When Pro pays for itself several times over

Pro makes clear economic sense in these profiles:

1. You publish 3+ AI faceless videos a week

A typical faceless pipeline: one script in ChatGPT (5-10 prompts between structure and revision), one storyboard in Grok (8-15 prompts), eight Veo clips in Flow (8 prompts). That is roughly 25-35 prompts per video. On Free you get one video a day with nothing to spare; on Pro you do three or four without thinking about it.

2. Your niche moves fast

If your niche is “applied AI”, “tech news”, “gaming news” or any vertical that shifts every week, Niche Scan and Niche Timeline are there to watch it closely. Two scans per 24 h (Free) will not cut it; 100 per 24 h (Pro) will. The difference between pivoting in time and publishing into a saturated sub-topic can be worth the price of Pro many times over.

3. A team or agency running several channels

Running three channels with their own series burns through the Free allowances within days. Pro lets you treat the suite as infrastructure rather than as an occasional tool.

4. Heavy production in bursts

Some creators record in two- or three-day sessions once a month and publish the results over the following weeks. If one production session eats 200 prompts in a day, Free does not come close. Pro absorbs it without blinking.

What Pro does NOT give you, even though you paid

Being straight about it, three points:

  • Niche Scan is capped at 100 per 24 h on Pro too. It is not infinite. If you needed more than 100 scans in a window — an extreme case, almost nobody — there is no plan above this one: normal use fits inside 100 with room to spare.
  • Pro does not get you past rate limits on Grok, ChatGPT or Google Flow. If OpenAI or xAI throttle you as their customer, AutoKuak Pro does not fix that. The AutoKuak allowance is ours; the model’s rate limits are still the model’s.
  • Pro does not include Veo 3 or Sora 2 credits. Those credits live in your Google One or OpenAI account. AutoKuak Pro automates the flow; the credits are yours to bring.

Three ways to pay for Pro, and when each one fits

PlanPriceWorks out per monthWhen to pick it
Pro Monthly$10.00/mo$10.00You want to try Pro for a month, or your usage comes in occasional bursts.
Pro Quarterly$26.99 / 3 months$9.00/moYou know you will use Pro steadily this quarter — a short project or a production cycle.
Pro Annual$89.88 / year$7.49/moYou are a steady creator and the suite is part of your stack. You save about $30 against monthly.

Card payments through Stripe Checkout. Cancelling takes two clicks from your account panel. Cancelling does not cut off access straight away — Pro keeps working until the period you paid for runs out.

Try the Free plan first. 30 prompts per 24 h per tool and 2 niche scans, free with a Google account.

Quick calculator: Pro or Free?

Three questions. One “yes” is enough to make Pro worth it:

  1. Do you publish three or more videos a week? The Free allowances run out in almost every 24-hour window.
  2. Do you pivot or explore sub-niches every week? Niche Scan walks the feed for you, up to 50 passes per scan, instead of you checking video by video.
  3. Does your channel make $30+ a month? If so, the return on Pro at $7.49-10.00 a month is obvious.

If all three answers are “no”, Free is strictly the right call. Stay on Free until one of them changes.

What changed since 2025

Three adjustments worth writing down for anyone coming from the older product:

  • May 2026 — split into separate extensions: there used to be a single “AutoKuak suite” extension; there are now eight, each with its own page, under the AutoKuak umbrella. One Pro account covers all of them.
  • Pro allowances restated: there was a brief period when Pro was described as “1,000 prompts per 24 h shared between Grok and Flow”. That figure was wrong — the real one is no cap per tool. If you read it back then, ignore it.
  • Niche Scan is no longer Pro-only: Free includes 2 scans per 24 h with a Google account. The passive overlays in the YouTube feed stay free either way.

Frequently asked questions

If I cancel Pro, do I lose access straight away?

No. Cancelling stops the automatic renewal, but Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Cancel on day 5 of a monthly plan and you keep Pro until day 30, with no further charge after that.

Does one Pro account work on several computers?

Yes. The account is tied to your Google sign-in. Sign in from any computer on any of the eight extensions in the suite and Pro comes with you.

Are there discounts for students or non-profits?

Not as a standard offer. One-off cases are handled by email through contact. If you teach or run an educational or non-profit project, write and explain the context.

Can I pay with USDT, crypto or bank transfer?

Public payment is Stripe (card). Other methods are not open for Pro. If you have card restrictions, get in touch before paying.

What is the real case where Pro is not worth it?

A steady weekly creator who already has their niche nailed down, does not pivot, does not generate AI video in batches, and only reads TubeKRadar overlays passively. For that profile Free is strictly right; Pro adds nothing that moves the needle.

Can I switch from monthly to annual without losing what I paid?

Yes. You manage the plan from your account panel through the Stripe Customer Portal. The switch is prorated automatically: you pay the difference and move to the new cycle from there.

How to start

The sensible order: install the eight AutoKuak extensions on Free, sign in with Google to lift the allowance to 30 per 24 h per tool, and run the suite for two weeks against your real pipeline. If you hit the Free ceiling more than three times in those two weeks, Pro is worth it. If you never hit it, stay on Free. To go deeper on each extension, the cluster posts cover every flow:
